Let’s shed some light on this unique idea: DIY candles. This project is fun, affordable, and a great way to make your loved ones glow with excitement!

Hello, my dear friends! It’s time for me to write another blog post and can I just say that I’m super excited. You may be wondering why so let me get right to the chase and explain. Wedding planning has been bliss lately and every day, as my wedding day draws nearer, I get more and more excited. You can definitely say I’m on the upswing of life and I never plan to come down from this giddy feeling E V E R!

Lately, and well ever since I’ve learned how to light a candle, I’ve adored them. I love the warmth, ambiance, and scent they give off. Light a few candles in a dark room and immediately you’ll have a cozy and ethereal feel. One of my roommates’ old roommates made homemade candles. I’ve always been aware of this DIY but I’ve never given it a try. This year, my creative muscles have been flexing a ton. So, I’m happy to say that today at Hobby Lobby, I found myself wandering into the DIY candle making section.

Peppermint is one of my favorite scents because of how invigorating and refreshing it is. For a Christmas-y feel, you can definitely do something like this candle. However, since Christmas has already passed, this idea can easily be changed up with different decorations. Imagine decorating your candle with a pretty blue velvet bow with a dainty silver or gold bell. Or maybe wrapping it with beige twine and a pretty pink rose.
