Excited for some cooler weather? We’ve got your fashion needs covered! I can honestly say that this fall and winter fashion is downright chic.

Hello, everyone! I hope today is treating you well and that you are feeling as ready as can be for the up-and-coming fall and winter seasons. There are things I love about all times of the year, but I have to say summer and fall are my absolute favorites. It’s roasting in the summer where I’m from, but that’s nothing a little AC can’t tackle. Fall is when life seems to calm down. It’s the time of year when hot soup isn’t going to make me feel feverish and a sweater (one of those classic autumn trends I can’t help but love) is acceptable attire for any and every occasion.

Wow, I love this time of year. It’s not too hot, and it’s not too cold. Then, there’s winter. Oh winter how I love and hate you all at the same time. You’re freezing and make it hard(er) to get out of bed in the morning, but you’re also Christmas-time and amazing winter coats. Ugh, I guess we’re just lucky: 1) we get to experience all of these seasons every year and 2) we get to wear awesome coats, jackets, and sweaters! Today, I’m going to share with y’all my favorite things to wear in the cooler months. I hope you like them as much as I do!

You can’t go anywhere in the cold winter months without an amazing coat. I mean, I guess you could but you might get frostbite. That’s a little aggressive and I suppose it’s really dependent on where you live... Anyway, this is my most favoritest coat I’ve seen floating around the internet as far as winter fashion trends for women goes. It’s neutral, it’s detailed, and it’s snow-friendly. I love this stylish coat. A coat like this instantly makes a statement while doing its job of keeping you warm! What’s not to love about this beautiful coat?

While on the topic of coats, this is another style I LOVE. First, it’s black and white (ALWAYS SAY YES TO THE B&W) and second, it can be paired perfectly with tights, leggings, or none of the above, as pictured. When it gets colder, I would love this with leather jeggings or black coated jeans. I mean, seriously how freaking cute is this?! Get. In. My. Closet...Plz 🙂

On the subject of black leggings/jeggings, this is a take on a classic black-out outfit. Whoever said black on black isn’t a good idea is wrong, so don’t listen to them! Black on black is life, my friends. Black pants paired with a textured black sweater and pointed heels are what every fashion forward woman should live for. Why, you ask? There are many reasons, but first and foremost because it is S L I M M I N G. No one can argue that’s not a good thing! This look can fall and find its way into my closet now. This is definitely one of those perf looks for winter!

As we get more and more casual, this next outfit is more suited for that awkward transition from summer to fall when it gets a little too cool for shorts. When I see this look, I see an outfit to run around town in, while still being able to meet a friend for a quick lunch. I’m one of those people who believe Converse and leather jackets are the greatest staples in any closet. They are extremely versatile and if you’ve taken any interest in fashion trends, they’re pretty much always in style.

Any kind of vest is great for those frozen spots of time in December and January...so how about one for fall? Vests rock! They’re where fashion and function meet. You can use a vest as an accessory or to warm up, either way a statement will be made! Here is my number one pick for fall fashion. It’s fantastic because it’s a neutral olive green color and can be worn with pretty much anything. Plus, it’s a color that looks good on practically everyone, and it’s not too dark or too light. Score! Find something great to throw under it (shirt or dress!) and you’ve got yourself a killer outfit!

Last on my list of wants is Burberry Rain Boots. I’ve wanted a pair for a long time, but I’ve never lived in a place that rained enough for me to shell out the dough! This style is newer and now I’m extra want-y for them! The style I wanted before was the classic Burberry print, but as I’ve grown up I’ve grown out of that sort of thing. I’m all about subtle luxuries/things that I can wear with more than one outfit and that is what this style seems to be. I think it’s time I move to Seattle and have an expense account so I can get these boots stat!
