Hello, everyone! It’s December already. Where did the time go? I feel like I was just starting the semester, and now I’m grading final papers! Since it’s the beginning of the month, you know what that means. Our roundup of our favorite tweets from last month! We have some wonderful ones for you, and some that will get you into the Christmas spirit. Let’s take a look, shall we?
Since most of us here at FurnishMyWay are huge baseball fans, and Astros fans to boot, we will never stop talking about the World Series. Nope. It’s too awesome and come on, we actually had a phenomenal team that did extremely well! It’s such a cool story too, from the struggles over the past few years with the team not doing well to this year’s devastating flooding due to Hurricane Harvey. It’s a story that won’t be forgotten, and it’s never going to get old for us. I really love looking back at the videos of the players when they realized they had won. So many different reactions. It’s just beautiful.
What's cuter than baby animals? Baby animals dressed up in cute sweaters, that’s what! We just had to share this one because who doesn’t need baby animals in sweaters in their life? If you’re having a bad day, whether it’s dealing with coworkers, deadlines, or finals, take a few minutes to scroll through all the images of the most precious baby animals in dapper little sweaters and stuff. The cover image should be enough to convince you. I mean, this cute little pooch has on a chic sweater and pearls!

When bloggers have pretty homes, I get jealous. Why? Because I want a pretty home too! Why do bloggers seem to always have the coolest spaces? This living room is spot-on, with that epic fireplace and cozy chair to sit in. I don’t know what rug that is, but I see it a lot in very well-decorated homes. I feel like it’s one of those items bloggers with great homes have, and I kind of love it too. If I had a fireplace like that, with a cozy rug and chair, I don’t think I would ever leave my house.
Look at these teeny honeycomb tiles! I have fallen in love with hexagon shaped tiles. I don’t know if it’s because I love bees (even though I am allergic to them, I think they are wonderful, adorable beings that should just flit around over there, not by me), or because I love hexagon shapes because 6 is my lucky number. I don’t know which it is, but seeing an awesome tile flooring design like this one out of honeycomb tiles makes me really want to have some of these tiles in my future home. I love the colors too, even though pink isn’t my thing. It’s just so soothing and pretty!
As avid book lovers, we couldn’t not like this tweet! I have always wanted to make a Christmas tree out of books, but have always been afraid of hurting my poor books. This idea is perfect for me, because I can pick and choose which books lay what way and show off my super pretty book covers, while keeping them all safe. I may figure out if I can manage to make something like this on one of my shelves at home, but I think I have too many books to pull this off! Maybe next year?
That’s all for now! What did you think of the tweets we picked? I personally love the little animals in sweaters! Let me know which is your favorite in the comments below, and don’t forget to share this post with your family and friends. Until next time, stay creative, my friends.
