There’s a long list of things we love, friends! We have a passion for art. A deep love for color. A warm spot in our hearts for food. We could go on and on! There’s a mountain of things that we love here at FurnishMyWay. Two things we love in particular are smoothies and Pantone colors. We’ve done posts on smoothies and posts on Pantone’s colors, but this is our first that will include both together, in the same place!

If you don’t know what I’m talking about, let me introduce you to artist Hedvig Astrom Kushner’s smoothie project. In this fun and fruity project, she created delicious smoothie blends to perfectly match Pantone’s color swatches. When I saw these smoothies, my heart jumped for joy because I love smoothies. At this very moment, I am planning on getting a smoothie once I get off of work. That’s how much I love smoothies! Secondly, I absolutely love Pantone’s 2015 color of the year. Don’t get me started on my love for Marsala! Let’s check out some smoothie art!

Pantone Smoothie Art Marsala Hangover Cure Strawberries Raspberries Lemon Beets

This smoothie closely resembles the 2015 color of the year: Marsala. Just by looking at the ingredients list (strawberries, lemons, raspberries, and beets), I know for a fact that it is nutrient packed. Oh! And another added bonus to all my libation lovin’ friends, this smoothie is also a cure for weekend hangovers according to Kushner!

According to Kushner, this one tastes like candy! I wouldn’t mind drinking this as a dessert shake after dinner or for a sweet post-workout treat. I’d seriously love to give this sweet and nutty smoothie a try some time soon!

I love the color of this smoothie because blue is one of my absolute favorite colors. If you’re a fan of blueberries like I am, I’m sure you’ll love the taste of this sweet treat!
