Channeling our inner Bruno Mars, today’s post will be all about fierce men’s fashion that’s too hot—call the police & the fireman!

Alright ladies and gents, I’ve realized something. Amidst our wondrous home decor posts and posts about food and fashion, we have not a single post that is specifically for the men in our lives, especially when it comes to fashion. The closest we’ve gotten to including the guys in our fashion posts was our post on His & Her fashion. Yes, FurnishMyWay has tons of female fashion oriented posts, but what about the men in our lives? They need to be stylish and up-to-date on the latest fashion trends too! So, for that reason, today I’m writing an entire post dedicated to men’s fashion! Woohoo! By the way guys, you’re welcome.

Now before I proceed, I would like to say that I am no expert on men’s fashion BUT I do have a certain someone special in my life and I do know what I like and don’t like on him. Plus, I have guy cousins who are uber stylish and we give each other style tips when shopping all the time. Now that the air is cleared, let’s continue with our post!

Here’s a classic go-to look that I think looks oh-so-fresh on guys! This handsome gent has a crisp classic button-down (apologies if my men’s fashion terminology is incorrect) tucked into a pair of light khaki pants, belted with a pair of classic sneakers. Personally, I like rolled sleeves on guys—actually I just like rolled sleeves in general, on both guys and girls. I think the rolled sleeve look is excellent on guys because it makes the outfit look casual and rugged, but also like it took a little effort to put together. Plus, come on guys, we all know that you like showing off those hard-earned muscles! Let’s be real. When my arms are super toned post-workout, I like to show them off too!

This picture actually makes me smile a little bit because it reminds me of my fiancé! He’s actually in the Marines so he has to wear a uniform on a daily basis and is not allowed to grow facial hair. However, if he had his way, he’d definitely dress/look like this every day. Now, I know some people are skeptical about flowers for guys, but lately floral prints have been hot in men’s fashion trends. This look totally proves that guys can still look manly with some kind of floral component in their look. I really like the classic pairing of the black leather jacket and the white shirt. What a sweet look!

I think this look is perfect for the fall. Layers are always essential for those colder months of the year. Personally, I love the way this ¾ zip looks with that brown leather jacket. Plus, let’s comment on those rolled jeans. I don’t know why but I really liked rolled jeans on guys. Rolled sleeves and rolled jeans? I just think they give a look a really relaxed feel. This outfit is definitely relaxed, but still kind of dressed up. I think this would be a great look for a date to a pumpkin patch or a romantic stroll downtown!

Alright, this look is for all the young professionals or the “yuppies” as my dear loving mother would like to call them. From the blazer to the button-down, this look is downright stylish. If I had to coin this look, I’d say it is casual professional. The light beige blazer is a little more relaxed than a typical black blazer, but it ties in very well with the light denim shirt.

Last but not least, if you really want to get that over-the-top classy, professional look then a nice Rolex watch or just any kind of watch is the way to go. I like the way this watch looks. I like the pop of blue in the face of the watch as well as the gold metallic touches, and how those both pair nicely with the black leather strap. If you’re ever wondering what would make a great gift for your boyfriend, husband, dad, or whoever, I think a nice watch is always a good but classic go-to.
