Are you looking for a new way to add some bright and fun patterns to different parts of your home? You gotta check out these fabulous patchwork tiles!
Hello again! Do I have a treat in store for you today! I love when I find something on the internet that leads to a great blog post. While perusing for blog ideas, I came across the wondrous glory of patchwork tiles and fell in love. Look at how fun and beautiful these tiles can be! Instantly my mind started whirring, thinking of different ways patchwork tiles could be added to a home to bring fun patterns and colors into the space. And thus, this blog post was born! Today I’m going to show you the wonderfully colorful ways you can incorporate these patterned tiles into your home! Are you ready? Of course you are, or you wouldn’t still be reading and waiting for me to get on with it already. Let’s look at some spectacular patchwork tile designs, shall we?
If I had the ability to put a backsplash in my apartment kitchen, this would be the one. Oh man, these are my colors! Honestly, I love everything about this kitchen and living room, especially those pillows! But, we’re here to talk about patchwork tiles, Julie, so stay focused. Okay. I really like the design of these tiles for two big reasons. Firstly, I like how they are centralized in only the kitchen, and specifically on the backsplash itself. You can totally put tiles all over the kitchen if you like, but I really enjoy how the tiles really pop in this location. Secondly, oh my gosh those colors and designs. I just really really love these decorative kitchen tiles. I kind of need them in my life. Maybe I could figure out how to temporarily put up tiles (without ruining the wall), or sadly I will have to wait until I own my own home.
I had to show this kitchen tiles design as well, just to let you see that the tiles don’t have to be super bright to make a bold statement. The colors are more muted, but still look fantastic and definitely pack a punch! I really like the geometric style of this patchwork tile set. It reminds me of a lot of the quilt patterns I used to work with back when I actually had time to quilt. I think this kitchen backsplash would be something my sister would really like, since they look a lot like traditional patchwork pieces, and she absolutely loves those. Maybe she’ll read this and tell me whether I’m right or not!

You know the saying “go big or go home?” Yeah, pretty sure they were talking about this floor tiles design when they said that! Holy moly, talk about a statement floor! You won’t have to go all out on decorations or artwork when your entire floor is an art piece like this! I really enjoy the fact there’s a cafe style table here, since that’s where I totally picture this floor being located. You know a place that has a floor as awesome as this is going to be fantastic, why not make it your home!

Shut the front door. Is this a patchwork tile faux rug? Yes, yes it is! This is mind blowing to me. I mean, that takes some dedication to your floor tiles design, but man, isn’t it gorgeous? The mostly white and neutral design of the kitchen and living room really lends itself to this type of patchwork tile design. Without it, this area would be very modern and sleek, which is not a bad thing. But the installation of a few square feet of bright floor tiles takes this space into a whole different type of decor! I love the eclecticness of this area. Can you tell I have a thing for these tiles? Nah, I’m being very calm and cool about it. I also want to point out that the colors in the tiles coordinate very well with that couch. The purple from the couch is nowhere to be found in the tiles, but the muted shade helps to ground the bright bold colors of the rug. Pretty neat trick, right?
If white walls aren’t really your thing, how about this take on patchwork tiles? Wow, the tile designs really pop against the dark gray walls! This is a wonderfully modern way to style these decorative wall tiles (hey that kind of rhymed!) and it speaks to me. This would be great for those who prefer darker color palettes and styles of design, or who are into off the wall designs.
I love a good breakfast nook, or well a nook of any sort, and the big bold patchwork tiles make this space extremely welcoming. I’m picturing waking up, not wanting to go to class, and then grabbing my cup of coffee and sitting here to enjoy the wall tiles and natural lighting. That would probably at least make me happy enough to not dislike leaving my wonderful puppies for the day. And then come back here to enjoy lunch, and then a snack, and then dinner...basically all meals would be eaten right here in view of these great patchwork tiles.
Who said we had to leave out bathroom decor here? Black bathtubs are a weakness of mine. There’s just something about them that I love. Add in these black and white floor tiles, and this is a bathroom I would gladly spend a lot of time in. This is a gorgeous and sleek way to implement patchwork tiles into your home. I really like the less colorful patchwork designs, and they still pack quite a punch!
This final design is the first one I saw and fell in love with. You have the awesome bright and colorful bathroom tiles, and then this shocking and definitely cool splash of color up the wall. It’s unique, and pretty fantastic in my book. If you’re looking to upgrade your bathroom, and add in some color in a fun way, think about this design. You could even go with a more monochromatic tile, like the black and white tiles or you can even find some in shades of blue, green, purple, and many other colors.
This wall tiles design is glorious. I love how it looks like a waterfall of color falling into the tub. And again, there’s a bit of purple in the decor outside of the tiles, but not in it. I wonder what it is about the color purple where it looks awesome with these decorative tiles. Maybe it’s a sign that purple is one of the best colors ever, and not just the fact that it’s my second favorite color and I happened to choose photos that coincidentally have purple in them. Who knows?
I hope you enjoyed looking at these bright and colorful patchwork tiles as much as I did! Would you add these tiles into your home? Which was your favorite? Let me know in the comments below, and don’t forget to share this post with your family and friends! As always, stay creative, my friends!
